He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilkinson and Lizzie Kittle Wilkinson; his wife Alice Wilkinson (Fleak); his siblings, Carleston, Cliff, Orland, Charles, Raymond, Delbert, Velma Kittle, Zona Cline, Macel Wright, Ermie Fleak and Anna Nuzum; and his daughter-in-law Emma Wilkinson.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin Wilkinson of Sandyville, WV, Avalon Ann Balis-Mick of Palestine, WV and June Dawson of Walker, WV; his sister Correne Wright of Parkersburg, WV; and his grandchildren, Cliff Wilkinson of Cottageville, WV, Carolyn Wilfong, Wayne Balis of Burbank, OH and Tonya Hays of Hartville, OH. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
