He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Summers Patterson and Beulah Vista Richmond Patterson. He is survived by: his children, Mariah Patterson of Beckley, Lisa Johnson (Davie) of Meadow Bridge and Kevin Patterson (Angie) of Sewell Mountain; and his grandchildren, Melissa, Kerri, Kortney and Morgan. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
