It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Walton Allen of Sand Fork, West Virginia, born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David P. Jr. Allen and Barbara Moore Allen; and his siblings, Anthony Thompson, Dawn Henson and Roddy Beth Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Johnson Allen; his children, Christopher Allen (Melinda) of Houston, TX, Joseph Allen of Pasadena, TX and Shannon Cook of Oklahoma; his stepdaughter Rebecca Mitchell (Todd) of Denton, TX; his siblings, Dr. Mary Sue Kendrick (Mike) of Oklahoma and Chester Lynn Thompson of Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Seth, Madison, Mason Allen, Owen and Adelyn Mitchell.
