He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Clark Smith and Ella Mae Jeffries Smith; his son James Wesley "Wes" Smith (Terry) of Burnsville; his grandson James Casey Smith (Madison Wells) of Morgantown; and his sisters, Helen Uhl (Dick) of Kersey, PA and Judith Ann Smith. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
