He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Virgil and Mildred Cottrill Richards; and his daughter Pamela Richards. He is survived by: his stepmother Ramona McCloy Richards; his wife Karen Sue Flanigan Richards; and his children, Carol Richards of Akron, OH, Ronald Richards (Kim) of Akron, OH and Melody Snyder. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; six brothers and four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
