With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Irene Hyde (Salem, West Virginia), born in Bristol, West Virginia, who passed away on June 11, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lowe and Freda Irene VanPelt Lowe; and her daughter Cathy Hyde. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Cavrich (Steve), Teresa Jenkins (Johnny), Rita Jozwick (Eddie), William Hyde (Tressa) and Justin Hyde; her grandchildren, Clyde, Jennifer Price, Tabatha Barker, Lacey Monroe, Kyle, Chance Barker, Curtis, Devin Anderson, Madison, Mackenzie Kee, Asher Hyde, Hailey and Kendra Hyde; and her siblings, Verna Slusser of Wichita, KS, Monree Patterson, Mary Boyce, Kenny Lowe, Larry Lowe, Danny Lowe and Tom Lowe of Ormond Beach, FL.. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the wonderful care that WVU Hospice provided their mother and request donations be made to WVU Hospice in lieu of flowers.
