He is survived by: his wife Josephine Quickle Samples; his daughters, Carolyn Samples O'Connor (Brian), Murfreesboro and Sharon Samples Conquergood (Stephen); his grandchildren, Ashton O'Connor, Tyler O'Connor, Ian Conquergood, Maxwell "Max" Conquergood, Liam Conquergood and Rori Conquergood; and his siblings, Richard "Dick" Samples of Taft, CA and Jean Samples. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
