He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lynn L. Cutlip; his children, Rena E. Cutlip-Mason and James George Cutlyp; his stepbrother Pete Schnably; his grandsons, Max Henry Cutlyp, Xavier Cutlip-Mason and Sebastian Cutlip-Mason; his parents, Rena Mick Cutlip and Reverend George L. Cutlip; and his stepmother Caroline Wolfe Schnably Cutlip. He was also cherished by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
