It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Ash Ruppert of Salem, West Virginia, born in Chester, West Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Galen Powell and Wanda Hill Powell; her husband Sam Ruppert; her brother Harry Powell; and her great grandchild Channing Robert Ash.
She is survived by: her sons, Galen R Ash (Becky), Kevin G Ash (Trina) and Victor T Ash (Penny); her grandchildren, Curtis Ash (Shaylyn), Cody Ash (Shala), Justin Ash (Ashley) and Traci Davis (Brent); her great grandchildren, Easton, Bowen, Carder, Jaxon, Josie and James; and her siblings, Kenneth Powell (Clodene), Naomi Johnson (Brent), Marlene Powell, Mary Bailes (Dean) and Ann Hawkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
