Delbert Ash Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delbert Ash of Salem, West Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Ash and Delsie Ash; his sister JoAnn Ashcraft; and the mother of his children Grace Rupert. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Lurae Ash; his sons, Galen'Grumpy'Ash (Becky) of Salem, Kevin Ash (Trina) of Salem and Victor Ash (Penny) of Salem; his stepsons, Gordon Edgell (Kerry) of Salem and David Edgell (Regina) of Wallace; his grandchildren, Traci Davis (Brent), Curtis Ash (Shaylyn), Justin Ash (Ashley), Cody Ash (Shala), Stephanie Forinash, Troy Edgell (Morgan), Samantha Edgell (Adam) and Eme Holt (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Josie, Easton, Bowen, Jaxon, Carder, Raelee, Bridon, Caden, Madalynn, Waylon, Amelia and Porter.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home & Crematory-Salem (1999 W Main St, Salem, WV 26426). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
