He is survived by: his children, Jamie Lowther and David Wayne Bland II; his grandchildren, Jayden Nicholas, Devin Bland, Cody Davis, Lillyan Denman and Paige Denman; and his siblings, Roger Bland Salem (Kathy), James "Joby" Bland (Sharon) and Nancy Drainer Stonewood (Marlo). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
