He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee and Edwina Eleanor Drake Anderson; the mother of his children Andrea McClure "Ann" Anderson; his brother-in-law Mike Rogers; and his stepfather-in-law Dorsey Fittro.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Kathi" Rogers Anderson; his children, Sarah Ann Bird Clendenin (Bobby), Matthew David Anderson (Brea), Shannon L Riegel and Shellie Oldaker Shinnston (Donnie); his siblings, Daniel Anderson Clendenin (Tammy), Rebecca Douglas (James) and Valerie Hammes Clendenin (Todd); his brother-in-law Jason Fittro (April); and his parents-in-law, Carol S Fittro and Robert B Rogers (Webster Springs). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Home & Crematory-Salem (1999 W Main St, Salem, WV 26426). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
