She was predeceased by: her parents, Christof W. Royer and Virginia Summers Royer; her husband Robert Michael Nelson; and her half-brother Robert Bailey, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Christy Howell (Tony) of Salem; and her grandchildren, Casey May Smith (Dustin) of Florida, Chase Howell (Wylie) of Bridgeport, Chance Howell and Caitlynne Howell of Salem. She is also survived by one great-granddaughter, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
