It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Everett Devericks Sr. of Salem, West Virginia, born in West Milford, West Virginia, who passed away on November 4, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Worthy Devericks and Elizabeth Pearl Crouser Devericks; his wife Carol Lynn Devericks; his daughter Tina Compton; his grandson John Compton Jr.; and his siblings, Norma Favre and Vernon Devericks.
He is survived by: his children, John Devericks (Melissa) of Salem, Charles "Chuck" Devericks Jr. of Clarksburg, Tim Deaton (Laney), Russell Devericks of Hepzibah and Cheryl Milton of Reynoldsville; his grandchildren, Emma, Chase, Josh, Shawna, Anita and Kayla; and his close friend Rebecca Deaton of Wilsonburg.
