She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis George and Jesse Cloe Richards Thompson; and her siblings, Violet Johnson (Ray), Bernard Everett Thompson, Clarence Ellis Thompson (Edith), Elizabeth Irene Hurles (John), Janice Hupka, Fred L Thompson, Jack Thompson and Robert Thompson.

She is survived by: her son Richard Swiger Mt (Ronda); her grandchildren, Amber, Siara and Justin (Calie); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Brody, Brilee, Cohen, Alay, Hazley, Hayden, Marley and Araya; her sister Margaret Kennedy (Brent); and her sister-in-law Lena Thompson (Salem). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
