He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Anderson and Bertha May Stout Ford; and his siblings, Elmina Gaston, Jane Gaskins, Ellen Gaskins, Garnett Swallop, Betty Merritt, Onest Ford, Bill Ford and Useba Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Jean Gaston Ford; his children, Donna Snider, James Ford (Marsha), Richard Ford (Charlette), Barbara Young, Crystal Dobosz (Emil), Dorene Ash and Brad Ford; his sister Louetta Morgan of Goldsboro, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Dorene Gaston of Weirton and Delores Ashcraft of Weirton. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grand children and six great great grandchildren.
