He is survived by: his wife Connie Dearth Gifford; his children, Bill Gifford (Debbie) of Parkersburg, WV, Mindy Whealdon (Jim) of Belpre, OH and Kristy Hashman (Jason) of St. Marys, WV; and his siblings, Kaye Hill (Jim) of Charleston, WV, Julie Mathers of Parkersburg, WV and Jack Smith of Florida. He is also survived by several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
