He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kelley and Mabel D. Boone Riggs; his wife Rose Anna; and his brother Daniel Kelley Riggs. He is survived by: his children, John P. Riggs (Brenda), Amy C. Hott (Joe) and Samuel Riggs; his grandchildren, Morgan L. Covey, Taylor N. Covey-Riggs, John W. Riggs, Joshua T. Knight (Jennifer), Nicole Knight Hendershot (Dustin), James C. Riggs and Andrew J. Riggs; his great grandchildren, Corbin Knight and Layne Hendershot; his brother Franklin Riggs (Norma); his nephew Brian Riggs; and his close friend Phyllis DeMoll.
