He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Adams and Juanita Wise Adams; his sister Kay Adams Scoggan; his niece Miranda Francis; his father-in-law Bobby McClanahan; and his brother-in-law Todd McClanahan.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" McClanahan Adams; his daughters, Juanita Adams, Tara Butler and Heather Adams; his grandchildren, Logan Butler and Kelsey Butler; his nephew Michael Scoggan; and his mother-in-law Phyllis McClanahan.
