He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cornell and Bessie Cornell; his wife Shirley Coss Cornell; his son Arnold Ray Cornell; and his siblings, Epsie Cornell, Nancy Kidder, Loretta O'Donnell, Donna Collins, Lafe Cornell, Paul Cornell and Robert Cornell.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill, Brian and Greg Cornell; his daughter-in-law Peggy Horner; his grandchildren, Allie Ronokski (Oscar), Jennifer Cornell, Mike, Brittany Cornell and Brian Cornell, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and Colby.
