She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scadden and Ora Elder Scadden; her daughter Vicki Lynn Ward; her grandson Gary Michael Ward, II; and her brothers, Cecil Elder and Fred Scadden.
She is survived by: her significant other Marvin Sunderman; her children, Debby Metheney (Mark), Jeannie Giboney (Paul), Steve Satterfield, Rick Smith, Sandi Fickiesen (Bruce), Michael "Pete" Smith and Tina Douglas (Chris); her son-in-law Mike Ward; and her siblings, Maryann Squires, Gladys Reynolds (Jim) and Harry "Buster" Scadden (Angela). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
