He was predeceased by: his former wife Kim Burke; and his sisters, Linda Burke Richardson, Irene Burke Gilbert and Thelma Burke Cook. He is survived by: his wife Marie Dorton Stallard Burke; his stepchildren, Perri Stallard Browning and Timothy R. Stallard; and his siblings, Anita Flowers (Dan), Diane Brock (Colin) and Paul Burke (Barb). He is also survived by Seven step grandchildren and Six step great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
