He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Mayfield and Edna Bailey Mayfield; his wife Margaret; his son Richard; his daughter-in-law Anita Mayfield; and his siblings, Bill Mayfield, Millie Sturm and Jean Reese.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron (Dodie), Mark (Margie), Jeff (Barbara) and Tim; and his daughter-in-law Linda Mayfield. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
