It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle D. Rouse of Saint Marys, West Virginia, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merle D. Rouse to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Rouse and Mabel Rouse; and his siblings, Bonnie Sue Rouse, Lela Knox, Esther McKibben, Larry Rouse and Vernon Rouse.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Ingram Rouse; his children, David Rouse (Nadege), Betsy Metz (Chris) and Marcia Canterbury (Andy); and his grandchildren, Jordan Rouse, Camryn Rouse, Abby Metz, Ian Metz, Cordie Jo Canterbury and Benny Canterbury. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-law, and two sister-in-laws.
