He was predeceased by: his son Samuel; his wife Lillie Pearl Winland; and his children, Barbara Ann Winland and Zachary Keith Winland. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Scarbrough (Rex), Patricia Mae Knight, Rose Marie Stull (Darrell), Peggy Kay Jordan (Keith), Harry Edward Winland (Kim), Allen Dean Winland, Johnny E. Winland, Jr. (Michelle) and Timothy Joe Winland (Mary Ann); and his siblings, Harry D. Winland and Mary Unsworth. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
