He was predeceased by: his parents, George Donald and Elizabeth Roden Riggs; and his siblings, Eugene "Brandy" Riggs and Martha Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Tina Riggs Oldfield (Dirk), James Dean Riggs and Donald L. Waters (Melissa); his grandchildren, Donald Butcher, Benji Butcher, James Stephen Riggs, Lucas Waters and Dakota Waters; and his great grandchildren, James Aaron Riggs, Sarah Riggs and Faye Butcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
