He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Britton and Christine Reese Britton; his wife Penny Britton; his son Robbie Britton; his sister Zelma Kelley; and his son-in-law Junior Payne.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Brown, Kim Payne, Loree Spitzer (Dana), Caree Bills, Darcy Grimes (Clint) and Katee Pennington (Josh); and his siblings, Bill Britton (Sharon) and Patsy Britton Tucker (Jim). He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
