She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hickman and Malinda Hickman; her husband Goff Carpenter; her sons, Michael and Philip Carpenter; and her siblings, Richard, Russell, John, Rondle Hickman and Fleta Talbott.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Carpenter (Kristi) of Belmont and Steve Carpenter (Tina) of St. Marys; her sister Rosemary Lauf of Texas; her daughter-in-law Nancy Carpenter; her grandchildren, Josh Carpenter (Lori), Luke Carpenter (Loretta), Amber Mayfield (Jeremy), Emily Carpenter, Allie Carpenter, Derek Carpenter, Kayla Bowie (Logan) and Boogie Grose; and her great grandchildren, Lila, Matthew Carpenter, Roman, Opal Mayfield, Brooks and Slade Bowie.
