He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Steele and Gaynell Maston Steele; his son Daniel Steele; and his granddaughter Kristin L. Boley. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Williams Steele; his grandchildren, Joann Eddy (Leslie), Timothy Steele (Ashley), Hunter Thomas, Dylan McKnight (Amber), Kayla Jackson, Tyler Jackson and Brady McKnight; his great grandchildren, Parker, Jayden, Kendall Eddy, Emerson Mowery, Reed, Rowan Steele, Kamryn Boley, Charlotte Jackson and Chase McKnight; and his siblings, Gary Steele (Debbie), Melvin Steele (Liz), Jimmy Steele (Linda), Donna Mossor, Wilma Maley (Jim) and Regina Taylor (Denzil). He is also survived by his children and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
