It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty June Metheney of Saint Marys, West Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brady Sr. Lamp and Bernice Hooper Lamp; and her spouse Carroll Lee Metheney. She is survived by: her children, Margie Mayfield (Mark), Debbie Barnes (Dwaine), Mark Metheney (Debby), Kathy Mossor (Ron Bayles), Karen Metheney and Mary Taylor (Teddy); and her siblings, Ruth Ann Carpenter, Pat Nichols and Jim Lamp. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
