He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl and Ann St. Clair Maynard, Sr.; his brothers, Burl Farley Maynard and Kenneth "Tiny" Maynard; and his nephew Ralph Thacker.
He is survived by: his wife Sally L. Maynard; his children, Joshua Maynard, Angela Maynard, Kimberly Maynard Dean (Bud), Kandace Maynard Taylor (Matt) and Krystal Maynard Hemphil (Billy); his stepchildren, Roger A. Hodge, Jeffery L. Hodge (Autumn Eve) and Misti Caldwell; his grandchildren, Johnithan Clark, Dakota Adkins, Kyersten Hemphil, Ryan Maynard, Johnathan Taylor, Aaron, Ian Dean, Derik E. Bowen "Catbird" and Brison J. Bowen "Scooter"; and his great grandchildren, Aidan and Keelan Clark. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
