With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Underwood (Saint Albans, West Virginia), who passed away on August 26, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Worden and Inez Worden; her siblings, Howard, Jack, Billy Worden, Peggy Raines and Kitty Compton; and her stepdaughter Nellie Underwood Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Underwood Sr.; her children, Sherry Carter (Doug), Michael Johnson (Becky), Ronald Parsons (Karen), Terry Parsons, Sue Hall (Mick), Timothy Parsons and Janet Siler (Gary); her stepchildren, Cheryl Thaxton (Keith), Kimberly Rucker (Bill), Jack Underwood Jr. (Liezel) and Anita Caruthers; and her brother Richard Worden (Freda). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.
