He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Keeney and Esta Stowers Keeney; his former wife Hilda Royer; his spouses, Clyde, Alta Keeney of Logan, WV, Ferd and Evelyn Keeney of St. Albans; his mother-in-law Theresa Poer Royer; his brother Herbert; his sister-in-law Margaret Royer of Huntington; and his sisters, Frances, C. C. Robb of Teays Valley and Dunbar.
He is survived by: his daughter Paula Shahan (Kenneth) of Clarksburg, WV; his granddaughters, Alicia Morris (Robert) of Mount Clare, WV and Brittany Crutchfield (Nate) of Sterling, Alaska; and his great grandchildren, Evan and Grant Morris of Mount Clare.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of St. Albans, 523 2nd Street, St. Albans, WV 25177, with a notation of in memory of Russell Keeney.
