He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Sigman and Amma Halstead Sigman; his former wife Ruby; his wife Beulah; his son Ralph Sigman, Jr.; and his siblings, Charles, Robert Sigman and Marie Spencer.

He is survived by: his children, Charles Sigman (Kay) of Richmond, VA and Nancy Dodd (Bill) of Charleston, WV; and his grandchildren, Richard Sigman (Tammy), Andrea Lucas (Matthew), Kayla Dodd and Olivia Miranda (Adrian). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
