With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nita Nohren of Saint Albans, West Virginia, who passed away on June 18, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Homer Mullinix and Irma Mullinix (Baxter); her uncle Ice Cream Shop; her grandparents, Benjamin and Rachel Baxter of Shelbyville; her former husband Dr. John K. Turner; her husband Ward Nohren; her children, Briana Turner of Taylorville, IL, Tara Kelly (Jim) of Hudson, IL, David Turner of Shelbyville, IL, Tritia Whittington (Mike) of St Albans, WV and Steven Turner (Brenda) of Westmont, IL; her siblings, Bill Young and Patricia; her brother-in-law Jim Talbot; and her grandson Gary Alan Sorrells. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
