She was predeceased by: her parents, George C. McDermit and Martha Sharpe McDermit; and her sister Martha Painter. She is survived by: her children, Richard Johnson (Peggy) of Nicholson, GA, John Johnson (Pam) of Nitro, Julie Hartman (Bill) of St. Albans, Mark Johnson of St. Albans, Marilee Cooper (Mike) of St. Albans, Robert Johnson of St. Albans and Kitty Bias (Jim) of St. Albans; and her sister Cornelia May of Texas. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
