It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn L Humphreys (Saint Albans, West Virginia), born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Johnson and Macel Iman Johnson; her husband William "Bill" Humphreys; her son Fred Humphreys; her siblings, Jim, Earl Johnson and Edith Garcia; her great grandchild Madison Jones; and her great great grandchild Brighten Grey.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Phelps (George) of St Albans and Bill Humphreys (Pat) of Dunbar; and her sister-in-law Betty Johnson. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
