It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Colleen Joyce Lightner (Saint Albans, West Virginia), born in Clendenin, West Virginia, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Sanders Lucas and Bessie Emma Wehrle Lucas; and her grandson Denny Lowe of Hurricane, WV.. She is survived by: her husband Albert J. Lightner; and her children, Sue Lowe (Butch) of Hurricane, WV, Allen Lightner of Poca, WV and Eddie Lightner (Susie) of St. Albans, WV. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and her beloved canine fur baby.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Highlawn Presbyterian Church, 2501 Washington Ave. Saint Albans, WV 25177.
