Anne Montahue wrote a sympathy message

“Buddie inspired all who knew her. She was her own person; yet, she cared about all. I met her in 2010, and barely got her interviewed to be in our documentary film, We Pull Together: Rosie the Riveters Then and Now. She was on our board helping the Rosie Legacy to be the true story of Rosies, which never should be fictionized. I will always miss her. I hope she will continue to guide me and the American Rosie Movement as we try hard to show true patriotism and hope.”
