It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gregory Bennett of Rupert, West Virginia, born in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bennett and Minnie Boggus Bennett; his son Robert Bennett, Jr.; and his sisters, Loraine Angle and Irene Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Kessler Bennett; his children, Teddy Bennett (Becky) of Rupert and Loretta Gwinn (Ted) of Crawley; and his siblings, David Bennett of Quinwood, Charles Bennett (Betty) of Quinwood, Freddy Bennett (Florence) of Rupert, Donald Bennett of Quinwood, Ethelene Martin of Pennsylvania and Vicky Bennett of Quinwood. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
