Walter Burke Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2021, at the age of 88, Walter Burke of Rowlesburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Burke and Nettie Ford Burke; his brother Dr. Joseph William Burke; and his nephew William Carder. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Custer Burke; his son Joseph Custer Burke (Michelle) of Madisonville, LA; his granddaughters, Madeleine, Meaghan, Molli and Malaina; his nephews, Dr. Bill Burke, Bob Burke, Brad Burke and Jeff Carder; his sisters-in-law, Carol Rogers and Mary Elizabeth Carder; his friends, Harman and Kay DelSignore of Rowlesburg; and his pet Pepper.

A memorial service will be held later in the year after the COVID pandemic.
