It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myrtle Aldeen Wagner of Rowlesburg, West Virginia, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Coy Funk and Anna Pearl Funk (Beatty); her siblings, Alfreda Nice, Inez Funk, Sarah Faye Hixenbaugh, Ernie Funk, Raymond Funk, Prentiss Funk and Kenneth Funk; her former husband Clarence Shaffer; her daughter Clara Louise Wiles (Shaffer); her grandsons, Cory Shaffer and Eddie Wiles; and her great grandchildren, Kirk Blythe and Jeremy Wiles.
She is survived by: her sons, Clarence Shaffer (Debbie) of Kingwood, David Shaffer (Stella) of Bruceton Mills, Mike Shaffer (Nancy) of Terra Alta, Raymond Wagner (Farmer Joe) and Leonard Wagner (Ralph Junior Wagner); her stepchildren, Johnny Shaffer (Beverly) of Ohio, Stephen Paul Wagner of Grafton and Cathy Wagner of Petersburg; her siblings, Dale Funk of Terra Alta, Fred Funk of Kingwood and Hazel McNemar of Rawlings, MD; and her children-in-law, Mary Wagner of Rowlesburg and Ronald Taylor of Terra Alta. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask.
