It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Marie Hovatter of Rowlesburg, West Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Wagner and Geneva E. Shaffer Wagner; her husband Rex Hovatter; her siblings, Raymond Jr., Ralph, Donald Wagner and Margaret Teter; and her former husband Bruce Sheets.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Sheets (Kathy) and Laura LaRue (Dennis); and her sister Barbara Jean Dillsworth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
