He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Rose and Goldie Marie Hicks Barb; his wife Betty Eades Rose; and his siblings, Pat Nichols and James "Jim" Rose.
He is survived by: his close friend Rita Campbell of Ronceverte; his daughters, Debby Baker of Ronceverte, Donna Rose of Ronceverte, Diana Hinkley (Bobby) of Ronceverte and Crissy Bennett (Jimmy) of Ronceverte; his grandchildren, Robin Helmick, Matthew Hinkley, Jared Fox, Brittany Duncan (Cody) and Tori Bennett; his great grandchildren, Emma, Reagan Helmick, Alexis and Asher Bennett; and his siblings, Maria Hachtmann of Union, WV, Dona Butuyan of Auburn, WA, Cynthia Bridges of Crossville, TN, Ricardo Butuyan of Ronceverte, WV and David Barb of Union, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.
