With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Leon Lafon of Ronceverte, West Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard LaFon and Kathleen Wood LaFon; his wife Edith Masters LaFon; his siblings, Wesley "Eddie" LaFon, Marie LaFon Brooks and James "Jimmy" LaFon; and his sister-in-law Rose Weikle LaFon.
He is survived by: his children, Robert LaFon (Sandy), Roger LaFon, Peggy Fletcher (Jimmy) and Crystal Cox (Barry); his grandchildren, Jason Judy (Sandy), Justin Fletcher Carson Cox (Jamie) and Cara Slaughter (Deiland); his great grandchild Wesley Thomas Fletcher; his brothers, Jack LaFon and Wayne LaFon; his sisters-in-law, Jean Masters Knight, Rachel Dunbar Drehr and Nancy Bostic LaFon; and also Harold Howard. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
