He was predeceased by: his parents, Solmon Castle and Hattie Sheppard Castle; his wife Kay Francis Nickell Castle; and his brother Carmen Castle. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Long of Fairlea, James Castle (Georgia) of Mabscott and Larry G. Castle (Edith Anne) of Oak Hill; and his grandsons, Jeffrey David Whisman and Keith Allen Whisman. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
