She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Wyatt Fury; her husband Gary Lockhart; her son Richard Lee Stevens; and her siblings, Barbara Benge and Roger Fury.
She is survived by: her mother Beatrice "Betty" Groves Fury; her daughters, Thelma June Arter (David) of Buckeye, WV., Debra Faye Stevens of Ronceverte and Melissa Dawn Lockhart of Ronceverte; her grandchildren, Scott Bradley (Maggie), Robert Bradley, Michael Ryan Dillon (Elisha), Patrick Hall, Autumn Hall and Michael-Lee Hall; and her siblings, Hazel Greenwall of Charleston, Lucy Hamann (Edward) of Greenville, Ruth Ridgeway (Billy), Steve Fury (Becky) of Lewisburg, Donald Fury, Albert Fury and James Fury (Shirley). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the White Sulphur Springs Chapel (175 Mountain Ave, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home (175 Mountain Ave, White Sulphur Springs, WV 24986).
