He was predeceased by: his parents, Finis Boyd and Hattie Mary Pinkerton Howell; his siblings, Earl Howell and Johnnie; and his brother-in-law Buddy Treece.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Howell; his children, Mike and Wendy of Michigan; and his siblings, Billie, Rick Howell of Alabama and Ophelia Long of Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901).
