With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrell James of Ronceverte, West Virginia, born in Union, West Virginia, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest L. West and Betty Underwood West; and his brothers, Steve and Robert West. He is survived by: his brother David West (Key); his nieces and nephews, Vaness and Elliott; his sisters, Karen West and Dreama West; his niece Michelle Jones (Steve); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Karys and Kellen; and his nephews, B. J. West and Chance West.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ronceverte Baptist Church (437 Main St W, Ronceverte, WV 24970). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Christmas Fund at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center – 979 Rocky Hill Road, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
