He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore R. Elmore and Edna Pearl Wimmer Elmore; and his siblings, Donald, Henry, Larry Elmore and Helen Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hess Elmore; his children, Doug Elmore (Karen) of Ronceverte, WV and Susie Anderson of Ronceverte, WV; his grandchildren, Ben and Hannah; and his siblings, Dale Elmore (Bonnie) of Second Creek, WV, Isabelle Cook of Richmond, VA, Naomi Painter of Richmond, VA and Rachel Carter of Fort Spring, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
